Description
Jump into the exciting world of fashion and fiber arts! This class will introduce budding designers to textile and fiber art techniques. They’ll learn how to change the surface of fabrics through processes like Shibori & tie dying, stamping and fabric painting as well as the basics of sewing. Then, it’s fiber arts time as we explore wool felting, weaving, and macramé. Students will learn to design, plan and execute their ideas from an abstract idea into a tangible product.
Things to Remember:
- Bring lunch and snacks everyday to camp [nut-free zone]
- All materials are included to complete projects from start to finish
- Please label all your child’s belongings (water bottles, jackets, etc.)
- Comfortable clothes for movement and making a “creative mess!”
