We are a family-owned Art Education Company offering virtual corporate events, after school enrichment programs, classes, parties and DIY products for adults and children, across the United States and internationally. We’re Hiring an Event Sales & Relationship Specialist to work with our Corporate Events Team to build relationships and rapport with our clients while successfully coordinating events to a consistently high standard. 

Location: This is a remote position

The ideal candidate will display a passion for connecting corporate team members through virtual creative experiences, have a strong track record in sales, and a solid background in event delivery and logistics. The goal is to build strong relationships with our clients to better understand how we can serve them and then serve them at the highest level to achieve sales goals.

This job has the potential of being 15-40 hours/week for the right person.

Job Responsibilities: 

Sales & Marketing

  • Achieve quarterly sales targets
  • Successfully coordinate events with excellent results 
  • Promote new events 
  • Actively seek and support virtual event marketing opportunities
  • Must be able to identify possibilities for revenue growth and then strategically plan to deliver on these opportunities

Relationships

  • Developing good working relationships with industry event planners
  • Understand and support our vision, mission and goals
  • Develop relationships and rapport with your assigned clients
  • Make prospecting calls to potential clients
  • Responsible for the satisfaction of clients or customers by ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery
  • Proactive account management of existing clients to grow revenue

Successful Event Coordination/Delivery 

  • Respond to sales inquiries and process bookings within the same day the request is filed 
  • Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements
  • Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, project recommendations, staffing and budgets)
  • Manage all pre-event planning, organizing, kit shipments, and budget requirements 
  • Coordinate with the studio team to ensure clients have all packages for their events, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and on budget
  • Work closely with the studio team, teaching staff and the Event Team Leader to  exceed client requirements to ensure consistently high standards  
  • Research opportunities for new clients and events
  • Stay in touch with clients to develop relationships 
  • Collaborate with other departments and operational staff to ensure a high quality of event delivery  
  • Give full briefings at event staff meetings 
  • Make sure that insurance and legal obligations are followed
  • Undertaking other duties as requested within the responsibilities of the position
