Who doesn’t need a little hope and kindness right now? We wanted to share with you how our amazing students use the creative skills they learn in our classes and camps to spread joy to others!

Meet Mackenzie age 11, Zoe age 9, Jackson age 7, Lucia age 9, Anna age 6, James age 11.

Sisters Mackenzie and Zoe teamed up with their pals, sisters Lucia and Anna (with some help from their brothers!) to share some love with the incredible, frontline hospital staff at Bay Area hospitals. In the spring, Mackenzie, Zoe and Lucia took our Beading Basics camp and learned the foundational techniques necessary to make jewelry on their own. They wasted no time in setting up shop right at home!

Turning their family room into an assembly line, this determined team has been measuring, crimping and creating one-of-a-kind jewelry with our Keep on Beading Refill Kits. Some of the bracelets feature inspiring words like: BOLD, POWER, BRAVE and AWESOME and each one is personally tagged and signed by one of these caring kiddos!

Hard at work since May, these pint-sized do-gooders have sent over 100 beaded friendship bracelets to deserving healthcare heroes. “We started Bracelets for the Brave with our friends because we care and to help you find joy in this hard time.”

Mackenzie and Zoe recently took Bodacious Beachy Beads, which is all about making SAND-sational accessories and are currently working with fringe in oue Trendsetting Tassels camp!
